Santa Barbara Youth Sailing Foundation
The Santa Barbara Youth Sailing Foundation is
pleased to announce our Summer Laser Clinic, June 12-13th!
Come kick off the summer sailing season with a two-day instructional
event hosted by the SBYSF and directed by former SBYSF head
coach David Hochart. The clinic is open to adults as well
as juniors, and will cover everything from proper rigging
techniques and boat handling to advanced racing strategies
and course management.
David Hochart has competed at top caliber events worldwide
and has coached top-level sailors both nationally and internationally.
His extensive coaching resume and competitive record on the
International Match Race Circuit enable him to bring a unique
perspective to Laser technique and course strategy. Don't
miss this opportunity to learn from one of the most experienced
coaches in the game!
The deadline for registration is June 10; please visit www.duncanshea.com/sbyc
to register and reserve your spot. The cost is $40 for adults
and juniors, or $50 after the registration deadline. The clinic
is free for members of the SBYSF Race Team.
